  1.      It  would  almost  be  easier  to  tell what we are not
  2. interested in (as I have already done on the previous page.)

  4.      We are mostly interested in  music  that  utilizes  the
  5. full   orchestral   approach   with   split/separation  that
  6. emphasizes the stereophonic capabilities of  the  music  and
  7. the  hardware being used to present it.  All of the music we
  8. use is  converted  to  the  Sound  Blaster(tm)  CMF  digital
  9. format.   In  most  cases,  we  would  prefer  a full-length
  10. treatment of any song rather than just a short chunk chopped
  11. from the opening bars.  (As an example, there are any number
  12. of renditions of THE  WILLIAM  TELL  OVERTURE  available  on
  13. BBSes.   All  that  I  have  ever  heard  could as easily be
  14. renamed THE LONE RANGER THEME because that is all you  hear.
  15. I  would  really  like  to  hear  someone  do  a full-length
  16. rendition of Rossini's WILLIAM TELL OVERTURE, even if it had
  17. to be cut into segments to accomodate conversion to the  CMF
  18. Format.)
